If you all didn't know about it then this is the real scenario -- VB6 and OCX are long dead

Perhaps that someone who are plain ignorant and his attempts to push out OCX components
and Scriptbasic should be made aware that all his efforts are futile.  It is akin to go fishing in
the Sahara desert.

That's a hit but it doesn't sink the ship.

Surely, that Scriptbasic ship won't sink in a desert as there is no water to begin with.  It would be buried by the sand
dunes as VB6 and OCX are all dried up and dead.

The article you've pointed us to is part of a VB6 counter-advertising campaign, a dirty promo, by a bunch of black PR squareheads in some commercial software migration development team. Despite all they might say, and you might echo, VB6/VBA/VBS business software and COM in general are still alive and kickin' at thousands of small and medium sized businesses all over the world, and will continue to be usable for at least as long as MS are offering their MS Office products built around this technology, that is, long after you and your kind are gone from this site.

It is unreasonable to start your career in BASIC with flaming and throwing mud at well developed and mature dialects that may take a goof years to learn before they start to tell their ass from their elbow in the world of BASIC.

You'd better show us some of your code first before trolling people outside of your "field of expertise".
