Hi James,

Yes, this is a Beta versioon: 0.2.0 featuring Unicode support, stricter dimensioning of variables and various other adjustments which I will have to list.

I don't envisage any major design changes to Oxygen. So we're in the Beta phase.

Thanks charles for the time you have decided to take the O2 forward
Can anyone tell me if it has change in multidimensional arrays or still depend on macros?

Hello,
How to know the version of oxigembasic?
I was thinking of adding a note of the O2 version in case it has significant changes to use the version that was used to write the program if it is necessary to edit

Hi Eduardo,

o2 still relies on macros for its multidimensional arrays. There are too many options, But I have a more flexible model, using macros and objects to create dynamic arrays of any type, with 1 to 3 dimensions.

version returns the string containing the version number and time-stamp.

To display it

print version

Hi, sometimes I come here to see what's new.
but I only change with personal things and I'm not a programmer I just like to play with some things, it's usually vba, but there are things that can be slow in vba
I usually do not comment because it is better not to mess with irrelevant questions for the progress of O2
excuses for using gloogle translator

For those who don't know what's going on with the language they claim to be their preferred one, this old sticky (https://www.oxygenbasic.org/forum/index.php?topic=1699.msg18341#msg18341) may shed some light on that mystery. ;D

what does "ola am Horge"  mean??    ???
Title: Re: Is it BETA?

Chris Chancellor
probably he meant would be Chris and Eduardo
can be characteristic of his language, and translated looks like there, well just think,
if it is not, I will not stress with the "acumen" of others, just can not confuse me with a criminal
this translator can lead to certain inconveniences, I even went through this, something I had written was taken as arrogance after being translated

Hello Eduardo

as you see "Chris aka Eduardo"    where aka means also known as
in English

so we can misinterpret that sentence to mean  Chris = Eduardo
which is wrongful use of the term aka

also i do not understand what is "ola am Horge"  and in what language?, as i only can read and write in English only

by the name looks like Croatian
but like I said I will not warm my head with the perspicacity of others
has a link indication there in the user, "http://basicpro.mipropia.com/smf/index.php"
but leaving aside, how are you with O2?

Thanxx Eduardo

i'm ok and not using O2 much as we are exploring other alternatives to PB

O2 needs to be stabilized first before we embark into serious programming
and that it is achieving Beta status now means that it is quite good.

So in Jun 2019  O2 is in Beta?

Yes, o2 is in the beta phase, currently 0.2.7. This means minimal changes to keywords and syntax, along with self-compiling, and some extended capabilities and bug-fixes.

The main changes have been:
