Title: BassBox Radio (version 1.30)
Post by: Patrice Terrier on September 11, 2011, 11:04:36 PM
BassBox Radio
is a WD16 application powered by GDImage, using Bass.dll (www.un4seen.com) and the visual plugins from BassBox.

It comprises more than 10000 radio stations to select from, and build your own set of playlist.
All stations have been checked programmaticaly at the date of 09-11-2011, to insure that all the links are alive.

You can search and filter the listview content (from each column by clicking on the small magnifying glasses).

Because of the size of the ZIP file (22 Mb), you will have to download it here:
BassBoxRadio.zip (http://www.zapsolution.com/preview/BassBoxRadio.zip)

WARNING: To avoid any UAC problem with VISTA/SEVEN, once the ZIP file has been downloaded and before you unzip it, from the Explorer select BassBoxRadio.zip, then press the right mouse button to open the contextual popup menu, then select property, and unlock the ZIP file!
There is also the solution that consist to add the "zapsolution" web site to the security zone, as explained here. (http://www.jose.it-berater.org/smfforum/index.php?topic=3842.0)

Now you can customize BassBox Radio on the fly, by selecting an icon from the new carousel Skin TAB.

Note: It is the first time that this has been done on a WinDev application, all the graphic stuffs are powered by GDImage at full speed with low CPU foot print.

See the first post of this thread for the current download link.

I also fixed a problem that prevent to display an error message when loosing URL connection.

Larry--

I have updated BassBoxRadio.zip to version 1.22.

This version now uses unicode FindFirstFileW instead of FindFirstFileA to detect the Skin_folders.
Please, let me know if you can see now the carousel on your VISTA box.

Thank you again for your feedback.

BassBox Radio has been updated to version 1.28.

The contact sheet theme, and the skin carousel have been mixed together on the same TAB.
And a new check box allows you to enable/disable the contact sheet "auto hide" feature.

If you already have version 1.25 or 1.26, you can patch to version 1.28 using the attached ZIP file.
