toward to write games and/or demoscenes.

Note: It has been modeled onto the OpenGL API, thus the syntax is the same.

if you would compare it to Bass library, what you like on it more and what you dislike about OpenAL?

Just in case you're thinking in translating the headers, be aware that I already did it. al.inc, alc.inc and alut.inc are part of my Windows API Headers package.

OpenAL is much more limited than Bass.dll, and it plays only a few audio formats.
However it is free, and toward to 3D audio effects that are using the same API than OpenGL, and this is its strength.
