I have installed it on my ASUS Transformer book.
And now i am back again with a PC (booting on the desktop).  :)

The only problem i have, is related the Intel HD4000 graphic card, that is not totaly OpenGL compatible, but that is something i was already aware at the time i bought it with with Windows 8 pre-installed.

Patrice,
I just upgraded my ASUS quad core desktop from 8.0 to 8.1 along with adding Visual Studio Express 2013.
I never did have a problem with the boot to metro as it was just one click to my familiar desktop.

I received info on how to compile a 64bit app from a batch file with VC++ from VS 2013 and preliminary tests are promising even with the the C++11 code I am testing.
I was also informed the VS 2013  "c" compiling has been updated to C99 finally :)
