I'd like to invite Theo, and others interested in being able to compile a 64-bit version of their PB-created components to join the PB to C++ open source project at:

https://github.com/uCalc/powerbasic-to-cpp

And the P in PB is for PowerBASIC.  Continue using the same familiar PowerBASIC syntax you are used to, and convert the code when you're ready to re-compile the 64-bit version.  This should be relatively easy to do using uCalc Transform.  The more people join, the sooner this open source project can be completed.  For more details see the announcement in the General forum.

Daniel, there is already a BASC to C Project, by James Fuller. Its called BCX-Basic.
Before starting somethinbg new, look there.

Sorry for the long delay in my response.  I was holding off until I could release a new version of uCalc Transform (which I did last night).  But yes, I am familiar with the BCX-Basic project.  As I mentioned last month in the PB forum thread at http://www.powerbasic.com/support/pbforums/showthread.php?t=53538 , I found that BCX was too different from PB.  I wanted something that works directly with PB code as is.  However, it's possible that some useful ideas can be shared between the two projects.  I'd be more than happy to let people use uCalc Transform in the BCX project as well.
