Are you aware of the ChangeWindowMessageFilterEx API
to modifie the User Interface Privilege Isolation (UIPI) message filter for a specified window.
This should allow the use of D&D from the Explorer when an application is running in admin mode 8)
(to be used also with WM_COPYDATA)
